In this lesson, students observe external brain anatomy to make inferences about the needs of various animals and to identify the types of brains in the Brain Zoo. The goal of this activity is to observe and analyze brain structure in order to infer function, relationships among species, and how brain structure helps animals respond to stimuli and meet their needs.
